Jo Briley, Touch-Learn's Baby Signing Trainer was a guest presenter at the Guild of Sensory Development's 2013 Conference 'Celebrating Sensory
The Guild's conference took place in Northampton in May 2013 and there were a number of super presentatons around the subject of Celebrating Sensory Development. Jo was invited to talk about Baby Singning.
Jo had everyone up on their feet after lunch; not the best slot on the agenda. But not phased by this Jo got everyone singing and signing ‘Old MacDonald had a Farm’; one of the songs she uses from our Baby Signing Teacher course. Jo enthusiastically told everyone about the origins and history of sign language, the benefits and some basic signs and everyone thoroughly enjoyed Jo's talk and a a number planning to enrol on our next Baby Signing course soon. Congratulations to Jo for a fantastic presentation!
We do recommend you attend a Guild conference as it's a great way to meet like-minded people and is always good fun. This year was no exception - all delegates left the conference buzzing from a truly fun and informative day.
