Baby Wearing Advisor
The 1-day workshop is aimed at professional practitioners who may be working independently or for a relevant organisation or charity. Course pre-requisites: participants should have prior experience of working with parents as a Touch-Learn teacher, facilitating groups or experience of baby wearing themselves.
The course is intended to give attendees an understanding of baby wearing allowing them to facilitate informative baby wearing workshop for parents, provide information on a one-to-one basis or as CPD to enhance their existing capabilities or courses.
This course follows the renowned Touch-Learn teaching philosophy and has a strong emphasis on non-directive teaching, empowering parents and teaching with relevant knowledge of Anatomy and Physiology.
By the end of the workshop attendees will feel confident to teach parents about the benefits of carrying their baby, how to select a carrier or sling and advise on safety when baby wearing.
